Advancing the goal of bridging the digital and education divide in the country, the DICT-Luzon Cluster I formally launched the Burgos Tech4ED Center on January 27, 2022.

Four computer sets, printers, headsets, CCTV camera, and routers were turned over to Burgos LGU for the center.

“Burgos’s one problem is the lack of ICT services, especially in the remote barangays. We thank the DICT-Luzon Cluster I for these services which I believe will greatly benefit the municipality by helping our constituents in their ICT needs including students who are having a hard time coping with the education’s new methodologies,” Burgos Municipal Mayor Robert Madarang Jr. said.

DICT-Region 1 OIC Regional Director Engr. Rey Parnacio added that the Tech4Ed Center will also catalyze the transitioning to digital governance, faster access to information, and implementation of other projects and services.

The center is open to all individuals who need ICT services. Government online transactions can also be done at the center. Visit the Burgos Municipal Hall to avail of the FREE services.
